Tigers gearing up to defending!

Huskies look to Rebound

Disappointed and likely embarrassed with their performance last year, the two-time Molson Cup Huskies have added significant assets to their line-up ...at both ends of the rink.! Team Coordinator Clark Udle has done an exceptional job refreshing the Huskies Old Stars roster in search of regaining the top spot.

New to the line-up for 2010 are former All-Canadian (2007) Dan Rudisuela and AUS all star goaltender from the late 90's Mike Weatherbie.

"Rudy" as he is universally known crowned an award winning career at SMU by signing a pro contract in the Maple Leaf organization and spent one season between ECHL and AHL farm teams. Last season Rudy took his game to Europe and played one season in Denmark before retiring and settling back in Halifax. The St Catherines native graduated from SMU with his MBA and was team captain in his final season.

Today, Mr Weatherbie is a successful dentist in Summerside PEI. During his AUS career, Mike played 4 exceptional seasons in nets for the Huskies before his 5th season at Dal while in Dentistry school. Much irony exists around his final season as Mike was the goaltender for Dal in a losing cause to SMU in 2002 for the AUS championship.
